Trans-shipping Statement

MERA Retail and Manufacturer members understand the importance of their authorized dealer agreements and recognize them as essential to their continued success. Non-adherence to these agreements result in business conditions that are hurtful to member and non-member authorized retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

Therefore, MERA members pledge to refrain from the commerce of branded products in a manner that is contrary to the covenants provided by the manufacturer's dealer agreement. Manufacturer, distributor and stocking representative members pledge to discourage transshipping by unilaterally declaring and enforcing their policies and agreements.
