Retailers and reps from the Orlando, Florida, area and other southeastern states attended the MERA-CEA Regional Workshops held Sun., Oct. 7, at the Sheraton Safari Hotel & Suites.
The Orlando session of the MERA-CEA Regional Workshops, featuring MECP, included these popular workshops: “Custom Installation for Today’s Vehicles,” with Bryan Schmitt, Mobile Solutions; “Getting Connected with Today’s Technology,” led by Eric LeClerc, Peripheral Electronics; “Staying Ahead of the Competition” by Ray Windsor, Leadership Systems; “Promote and Profit,” led by MERA’s vice president, Barry Vogel of The Ultimate Edge in Oswego, NY, and MERA’s president, Bob Graham of Breakers Stereo, Oxnard, CA.
When they weren’t soaking up MERA know-how in the workshops, retailers explored the event’s other offerings, including personal demonstrations of MERA’s software solutions: MERA Sales & Scheduling and MERA Integration Excellence. Also, representatives from CEA’s MECP program and lunch host XM Satellite Radio met with a number of attendees.
The program is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®), enabling MERA to take its nationally recognized training on the road with workshops designed to complement the educational programming and workshops offered at the annual MERA KnowledgeFest event.
